Garden bench . . .

I posted this on my other blog but I just love it and need to give it a spot on this one dedicated just to benches. I saw it on a walk last summer just a few blocks from where I live. The flowers make is so perfect!

On Courthouse Square

This is the only other bench I know of in our little town.

Even benches at the jail . . .

I found this long bench in the courtyard of the jail.

They have shorter ones also but Blogger isn't cooperating so won't post them today.

Bench at Mexican Restaurant

This is a bench outside of our favorite Mexican Restaurant.
I LOVE this bench and have been wanting to get a shot of
it for a LONG time. Finally, I took my point and shoot camera
with me to the restaurant and got this shot.
And the meal was YUMMY :)

Bench friend . . .

I know it's just a partial bench but couldn't resist. . . With all the dirt and grime on this one, you can tell it has been through a winter of no one taking care of it. Isn't the squirrel cute tho?

Plain & Simple

It's very hard to find a bench where I live. This one was on the playground at the local elementary
school.

Confluence Bridge bench

I took my first walk over the Confluence Bridge today beginning at the Old Apple Tree Park and ending at the Fort Vancouver Replica. Do you see the BENCH along the path over the highway? While the bridge is finished and the plants established, the work is not finished and the sign says it will be completed in warmer weather but we may walk over it now. I will write about my adventures here soon. If you want to know more information about it, I wrote about it in an earlier blog and cited a neat reference to the project.

A bench to view Klineline Pond . . .

This is a beautiful place to sit after a walk on the trail from Salmon Creek Greenway. The day I took this photo, I started at the Hazel Dell end and then went on my hike. It's also a fishing pier at Klineline Pond.

A Plain Bench

A plain little bench at the park.....but what a wonderful place to sit.
I took this from the bottom of a hill looking up toward the bench....so it looks
like the grass was really tall. It wasn't that tall at all...but it sure was green :)
This is one of my favorite places to sit and pray and to thank God for
this wonderful world he has created.

An angel bench . . .

I would feel kinda sad sitting here, making those small angels hold my weight! Or maybe I should be grateful they can "carry" my burdens as I sit and pray? Found this bench on a walk at the same little church yard as the first one.

White double benches with canopy

I fell in love with this set of benches I found and photographed in a little church yard.
